Purpose and Scope:

The Gideon Education & Training team is responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of content intended to equip today’s Christian business and professional men. The Manager will support specific International Programs ensuring they reinforce the vision of The Association and its ideals of spiritual preparation and practical ministry through The Gideons International.

The Manager, International Programs – P&PW and CM (the manager) will evaluate and document the performance of the Prayer and Personal Witnessing and Church Ministry programs (the programs); will forecast future performance; will recommend future enhancements; and will manage the implementation of decisions made by others.

The manager will serve as a resource to Zone Trustees, State Presidents, Sate Chaplains and Church Ministry Coordinators offering expertise to strategically implement the program. The manager will work with others to provide the infrastructure necessary to manage the implementation of Conversations and will serve as a contributing member of the IT Product Steering Team to introduce and implement user-experience improvements related to the programs.

Essential Job Functions:

Actively participate in local Gideon activity.Handle escalated support requests from members via telephone, email, and ticketing system.
Develop a multi-year business plan for review by executive leadership and manage the implementation of the approved roadmap.
Serve as the project manager for the implementation of decisions made by executive leadership
Maintain a cycle of continuous improvement.
Provide time and resource estimates as requested, coordinating with other divisions and contractors as required.
Forecast cultural and industry trends that affect member activities and propose recommendations to address the changes.
Serve as the product owner for all assets related to the Prayer & Personal Witnessing and Church Ministry programs including Conversations
Equip state and national leaders in all aspects of the programs.  Manage a cadence of training that provides a consistent learning environment to paying special attention to equipping new leaders. Work with Curriculum Development as needed.
Responsible for ensuring all program collateral (including Operations Manuals) are current and aligned with existing policies (with respect to the specific programs)
Document the business process and requirements for the UX in member facing applications (with respect to the specific programs)
[DM1] Develop and maintain the infrastructure required to centralize the management of Conversations including EU and Instructor certification and possibly online registration.
Equip Member Care and field staff to properly understand all aspects of the programs. Work with Curriculum Development as needed.
Lead morning staff devotions, as part of rotating team, through prayer, worship, and Scripture reading, in addition to providing comments on the Scripture passage.

Reports To:                         Director, Gideon Education & Training            Works Closely With:        GMO; Curriculum Development; Membership Services; IT Helpdesk; Membership Engagement; Membership Recruitment; and Members at large.

Minimum Qualifications

Active Gideon member in good standing
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of sales, field work or management experience or equivalent work experience
Solid knowledge of business consulting and program management approaches and methodologies.
Candidate must possess the capability to deliver large and medium projects on time, in scope and within budget.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and teamwork (or other project management applications).
