The Gift Processing Specialist supports the Manager, Donor Services and the Development Team at The Gideons International Headquarters. Effectively works with internal and external customers with a high level of care and confidentiality. Performs administrative tasks effectively and efficiently while modeling and utilizing excellent process management skills that help to continuously improve the services provided by the Development Department. The successful candidate will exhibit competence in the role, possess strong communication skills, confidentiality, interpersonal and organization skills. Perform duties involving the preparation and maintenance of the Development Division and donor database. The goal is to build and maintain a robust donor database with great integrity of data and provide an exceptional level of customer service.
Two years’ experience in maintaining detailed records or customer service databases preferably in finance or fundraising
Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
PC experience: advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Office applications
Typing and data entry skill set – minimum of 50 words/minute
Proven experience with database management
Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
